I, Kaswar Klasra, Editor, on behalf of “The Telegraph Islamabad”, humbly extend our sincere apologies for the dissemination of inaccurate information regarding,
“Mr. Shehzada Aman Tariq, Managing Director, SaleemSons Pvt Ltd”. Our article published on 4th July 2023 contained factual inaccuracies and misrepresented the actions and practices of Mr. Shehzada Aman Tariq, his staff, associates, and their Company.
We acknowledge the potential harm caused by the dissemination of false information, particularly to the reputation and credibility of a highly reputable and respected business “SaleemSons Pvt Ltd”. We recognize the impact our error may have had on the business, its stakeholders, their respective client/s, and the public perception.
We also acknowledge that this misinformation attributed to us, has been disseminated through Ground Courier/s mainly TCS Service, Pakistan Post Office, and Fraudulent Emails by unscrupulous competitors of Mr. Shehzada Aman Tariq and his organisation. This has resulted in damage to their reputation, and has had a deep impact on their clients, for which we are deeply sorry.
As journalists, it’s our responsibility of critical importance of upholding integrity, accuracy, and transparency in our reporting. Regrettably, in this instance, we failed to adhere to these fundamental principles, and for that, we again apologize.
We respect the Pakistani Law and understand that the dissemination of false information online and in print, attract penalties, both criminal and civil for spreading false information or rumors that harm the reputation of individuals or organizations.
We apologize for using incredible resources and publishing false information, coming from Deceitful and Untrustworthy Business Competitors the names and contact details of whom I have now disclosed, and whom to the best of my knowledge have had personal gain from spreading falsified information of Mr. Shehzada Aman Tariq’s personal and professional life, which has caused defamation and unwarranted harm to his reputation.
Moving forward, we are committed to implementing stringent fact-checking protocols and editorial standards. We regret that we may not be able to fully compensate for the financial losses and damages resulting from the misinformation published, but we are dedicated to correcting our mistake in every possible manner, we will personally extend our apologies to all their clients, stakeholders, and others to whom it may concern. We will continue publishing an apology for as long as required, and anything we can do at our end to show we genuinely regret our mistake.
