Stabbing attack leaves four people injured in central Paris

Paris: Four people were severely injured in central Paris in a stabbing attack late on Friday.

According to police, four people came under attack exactly outside former offices of Charlie Hebron in central Paris. Suspects have been on the run since the attack while police teams were constituted to trace the suspects.

” Four people have been injured in a stabbing attack in central Paris. A police operation is underway in search of two suspects who are “on the run”,” a senior police officer told Correspondent of Islamabad Telegraph in Paris.

A Police officer told this Islamabad Telegraph that the attack took place in the 11th arrondissement, in the vicinity of the former offices of Charlie Hebdo, site of a deadly terrorist attack in January 2015 that killed 12 people. A high-profile trial is underway in that case at the Paris courthouse.

A wave of fear has been felt across the locality which has been declared a high security zone following deadly attack of 2015.

The attack has raised questions on performance of security agencies.
